Metropolitan Detroit, Michigan senior housing, care, and aging services organization joins the nation’s leading insurance and risk management provider exclusively serving senior care not-for-profits

LIBERTYVILLE, IL – Metropolitan Detroit, Michigan continuing care retirement community becomes the 58th Member of Caring Communities, the nation’s largest insurance and risk management provider exclusively serving non-profit senior housing and care organizations.

“We made the connection with Jewish Senior Life based on their leadership recognizing the value our risk management resources will bring to their mission,” shared Jim Caldwell, Chief Executive Officer at Caring Communities. “Proactive aging services risk management is a principle that we share with all of our Members, and we are honored that Jewish Senior Life has chosen to partner with us. We welcome Nancy Heinrich, CEO; Jennie Klepinger, Chief Financial Officer; and all associated with Jewish Senior Life. We look forward to beginning our new relationship and serving their beautiful community and devoted mission of delivering quality care and service for their residents.”

“After years in the general insurance market where we received very little risk management support specific to our senior housing and care concerns, we turned to Caring Communities,” said Nancy Heinrich, Chief Executive Officer at Jewish Senior Life. “We welcome the opportunity to work in partnership with the experts at Caring Communities to improve our risk profile and, most importantly, to improve health and safety outcomes for our residents.”

Jewish Senior Life offers independent living, assisted living, memory care, and associated aging services programs at two campuses in the Detroit area.
