Description:
This informative session will review Life Safety Code (NFPA 101, 2012 edition) compliance in skilled nursing facilities and other similar healthcare providers regulated by CMS. The program will review common deficiencies (K-Tags) and promote strategies to help ensure safety and compliance in the LTC environment of care. Several examples (pictures) of non-compliant conditions will be presented to help reinforce the types of finding surveyors are continuously citing. Life Safety Code compliance in healthcare facilities helps to promote facility-wide readiness.
