This webinar is designed to educate human resources and management personnel on essential aspects of union operations and the implications of managing a unionized workplace. The webinar will educate on applicable laws and rulings of the National Labor Relations Board, the important role of management during an organizing campaign, and proactive and constructive strategies for employers to assess and address employees’ susceptibility to union organizing efforts.

2. Determine what most commonly prompts employees’ interest in a union.
3. Identify early signs of union organizing and develop awareness of immediate next steps.

Speaker Bio:
Amber Cox is a Partner at Laner Muchin. She regularly counsels clients on compliance-related and strategic issues arising under a broad range of federal, state and local employment laws and conducts supervisory training on a number of labor and employment topics including maintaining a discrimination and harassment-free workplace; effective documentation and discipline; and positive employee relations. Amber also represents employers in labor law matters including labor arbitrations, collective bargaining, representation cases and other proceedings before the NLRB.
