This webinar will provide an introduction to critical aspects of preparing for and managing conflict and crisis. It will involve a quick overview of the human cost/investment required, leadership principles, developing a response structure, understanding and accepting the threat and an overview of training and exercise requirements.

Corporate and campus risk managers, compliance officers, administrators, medical directors, safety and security, directors of nursing, mid-level providers, social workers, and QAPI Committee members

Speaker Biography:
William Tait is a retired Canadian Army veteran serving in various command and operations staff positions throughout his twenty-plus year career including the Joint Staff. He was a member of the Joint Terrorism Task Force that deployed to the 1976 Olympics and then continued with various anti-terrorism assignments throughout his career. In 2010 William accepted a position with the United States Marine Corps and developed and ran Active Shooter and Anti-Terrorism training and exercises for Marines and civilians at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma until 2014. In 2015 he created CSRV Consulting and is actively involved in providing emergency management training and exercises to LTC communities in Arizona. His company has been providing COVID-19 testing in aggregate care facilities in Maricopa County since the onset of the pandemic.
