Caring Communities’ integrated risk management system assists with improvement at each level of care and service line in post-acute care, aging services, and senior care housing. With monthly publications, conferences, assessments, toolkits and other collaborative initiatives — our culture of safety, quality, and risk management practices constantly evolve to meet the ever-changing quality, risk and safety climate in post-acute care, aging services, and senior care housing organizations.
Through a subscription to ECRI Institute’s Continuing Care Risk Management System (CCRM), Caring Communities Members also receive tools that enhance their organization’s culture of safety, improve quality, minimize risk, and protect workers and residents. From guidance articles and self-assessment questionnaires, customizable education templates, and sample policies and procedures—the CCRM System pays special attention to the needs of our Member professionals. The CCRM’s expert research and advisory system address risk factors such as falls, pressure ulcers, wandering and elopement, employee injuries, as well as emergency preparedness, disaster planning, and corporate compliance—a focus that is unique to the challenges facing the aging services industry.
