Caring Communities, leading member-owned provider of insurance and risk management services for not-for-profit senior care and housing providers, is excited to welcome Front Porch as a new Member.
Front Porch, which is led by Chief Executive Officer John Woodward, offers seniors independent living, memory care, assisted living, care centers, and affordable housing communities. Based out of Glendale, California, Front Porch manages multiple communities across California and beyond, expanding its locations through a partnership with Covia.
Front Porch is built on the power of partnership. As a not-for-profit organization, they work with other organizations and individuals whose hallmark of service and philanthropy defines the way they work. Together, they are dedicated to excellence, helping others, and improving quality of life.
On April 1, 2021, Front Porch and Covia united as one organization under the Front Porch name. Their shared commitment to those they serve brought them together. Front Porch now consists of over 3,000 employees, and blends the talents, expertise, and energy of both organizations to support 54 communities, 7,500 residents, and more than 6,000 participants in programs and services nationwide.
Jim Caldwell, CEO at Caring Communities, had this to say, “We are especially pleased to welcome Front Porch becoming a new Member upon completing their affiliation with COVIA, one of Caring Communities original Members. I have known John Woodward since he became CEO of Front Porch and was very hopeful that one day Front Porch would be part of Caring Communities. Recently we spoke and I found that we are both very excited about the new relationship between our organizations. Thank you to John and the entire Front Porch team and congratulations for your affiliation with COVIA. We look forward to working with you and everyone associated with Front Porch.”
