About the Speakers:
Jean Harpel joined ECRI in 2013 and currently serves as the operations manager for the aging services team. Her extensive nursing experience includes adult critical care, long-term care, education, nurse management and clinical decision support. She teaches a Geriatrics and Risk Management course at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a risk management class for Nursing Home Administrator students.

Celena Romero joined ECRI in 2019 and currently serves as the senior risk management analyst for the aging services team where she is currently providing long-term care risk management consulting services to various not for profit aging service providers. She is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. Her healthcare administrative background includes work in government and commercial pay for value/improvement arrangements, patient safety event data analysis, and continuous quality improvement programs.
