This live webinar “Skilled Nursing Surveys: Best Practices Pearls and Pitfalls” will dive deeper into an understanding of the common violations and citations following the resumption of State Surveys. Best practices will be reviewed, including Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) and appeal violations/findings. A case study of a facility navigating a recent survey and the subsequent appeal process will also be assessed. Invitations for webinars will be sent to Members via email.

Speaker Bio – Adam Guetzow advises clients in the full continuum of aging service and long-term care providers, including home service agencies, assisted living facilities, sheltered care facilities, continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), and skilled nursing facilities. Adam regularly defends litigated matters brought under state and federal statutory provisions. He also represents aging service providers in administrative actions before both state Departments of Public Health and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
