This webinar offers creative ways to navigate staffing shortages, such as allowing exempt employees to pick up shifts by performing non-exempt work, paying for employees to obtain certifications and hiring employees under Visa or other programs. This course will address wage and hour/compensability considerations, risks with losing an overtime exemption, and tuition reimbursement/deduction issues.
As a result of this presentation, attendees will:
- Identify and develop creative ways to recruit, develop, and train new and existing talent.
- Determine how to effectively manage and maximize resources during staffing shortages.
- Understand legal considerations when managing employee schedules during staffing shortages.
- Develop strategies to maintain a productive work environment during staffing shortages.
