Who Is Caring Communities?
We’re an insurance and risk management solution exclusively serving not-for-profit senior housing and care organizations. In fact, we’re the first and largest of our kind. But we’re also so much more.
At Caring Communities, our Members are more than policyholders—they own the company. And our Members are a respected group, with many among the LeadingAge/Zieglers’ Top 200.
By reducing liability claims costs and transforming insurance premiums into a performing asset, we’re changing insurance and risk management for our Members. Together.
What Does Caring Communities Do?
We are invited in by some of the top senior care organizations that are looking to tackle their challenges related to the safety, health and well-being of their residents and employees. And we also provide our Members with comprehensive liability insurance protection.
Caring Communities owns and operates a Risk Retention Group (RRG) insurance company registered in all 50 states, and an insurance company licensed by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority. Both companies are rated “A Excellent” by A.M. Best and are authorized to underwrite reinsurance.
How Did Caring Communities Get Started?
In 2002, twenty of the nation’s leading not-for-profit senior housing and care organizations established Caring Communities. Since then, we’ve pioneered and designed risk management practices that can increase resident and employee safety.
And we continue to demonstrate our value to the senior care industry as the leading and most effective risk management and liability insurance resource.
